KAYENTEE COLLECTION
Kayentee is a bold and joyful geometric pattern for Spring/Summer 2020 that takes its inspiration from the heart of Africa. Evoking a sense of spiritual purity and celebration, it ignites energy to the wearer.
The pattern originates from one of West Africa´s most iconic fabrics, the Kente cloth from the Ashanti people of Ghana. According to legend, two brothers came across a spider spinning a web whilst hunting. Amazed by its form, they were inspired to recreate its beauty.
Originally worn at times of extreme importance, this brightly-coloured fabric has grown to become a symbol of pride and identity.
